We are looking for a Radio Access Network Deployment Engineer, a key highly technical position within our growing company with dynamic and exciting environment.<\/p>\n
The Radio Access Network deployment engineer is responsible for integration and implementation of RADCOM mobile 4G\/5G Core and Radio monitoring solution within our customers\u2019 virtual, physical, and cloud-based environments. The engineer will be actively involved with the different aspects of RADCOM solution integration and will work in partnership with multiple departments and functions within the organization.<\/p>\n
The engineer shall be viewed by the customer as the Subject Matter Expert for RAN \u2013 Radio Access Network and for the RADCOM monitoring solution, including certification, configuration, administration, and troubleshooting.<\/p>\n
The Radio Access Network Deployment engineer will also be involved with support escalation of operational issues related to RAN and Core network and will work closely with the customer and partners in a dynamic versatile environment with cutting-edge technologies.<\/p>\n
Engagements and duties:<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2022 Work in partnership with internal resources, such as Project Management, Engineering, Professional Services, Product Management and System Architects to push the integration through its phases. Enable the solution in the lab, troubleshoot any issues during integration and stay actively involved during the production phase as new features and versions are released. \n\u2022 Take active role in defining and executing test plan for the RAN part in the RADCOM monitoring applications by writing test objects and detailed test plan description, followed by hands-on execution of the test cases in a lab environment while documenting all activity and results.
\n\u2022 Interact and engage with customers\u2019 personnel handling lab integration, field deployment and operation of RADCOM\u2019s system, as well as end users, to assure optimal usability of the RADCOM solution and the highest level of customer satisfaction.
\n\u2022 Attend daily\/weekly meetings with customers and RADCOM internal resources.
\n\u2022 Handle service requests and change requests; be involved in tracking and certifying the tickets till resolution.
\n\u2022 Be involved in user training and coach customer\u2019s users, operations and lab personnel about aspects relating to RADCOM monitoring technology, solution components or its infrastructure.
\n\u2022 Support escalations and issues diagnosis.<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 Bachelor\u2019s degree in engineering
\n\u2022 Sound knowledge, understanding and experience in networking at all layers.
\n\u2022 Proficiency in RAN technologies: 4G, 5G, ORAN and related 3GPP standards
\n\u2022 Experience with Radio Access Networking troubleshooting; thorough understanding of call flows of different services and scenarios.<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 Knowledge and experience with Mobile Core and IMS Core technology and protocols including VoLTE, VoNR \u2013 an advantage.
\n\u2022 Experience with Linux, shell\/Python scripting, Kubernetes \u2013 an advantage.
\n\u2022 Experience with cloud-native technologies \u2013 AWS, Open Stack, VMware \u2013 an advantage.
\n\u2022 Experience with databases and analytics \u2013 an advantage.<\/p>\n
