About the Role:
- Support the payroll administration process in an accurate and timely manner – work closely with an additional payroll controller
- Collect and update data in the payroll system
- Act as the point of reference for employees’ payroll-related queries
- Process new employees and employment terminations paperwork
- Manage pensions, employee benefits, and interactions with insurance agencies- Strategically and operationally
- Payroll bookkeeping- Record payroll JEs, prepare relevant payroll accruals, and balance the payroll against the general ledger
- Implement and adapt the payroll to changes in regulations and policies
- Work as an integral part of the Accounting team and working closely with Human Resource teams on payroll topics
- Maintain a high degree of service and confidentiality
Requirements:
- Certified Israel Payroll Controller.
- 5+ years of experience in local payroll processes.
- Deep knowledge of Israeli labor laws- Mandatory
- Experience working with “Hilan – Mandatory
- Experience of working with payroll institutions and insurance agents.
- High level of English proficiency (oral and written)
- Strong Microsoft Excel Office skills.
- Detailed oriented.
- Can-do positive approach.
- Ability to prioritize duties, meet tight deadlines, team player, ability to work and solve issues independently.
