Director of Sales Engineering Excellence
About The Position
We are seeking a Director of Sales Engineering Excellence to lead the development and enforcement of global methodology, enablement programs, and process standards for our Sales Engineering organization. This is a professional leadership role — not a people management position — focused on empowering Sales Engineers to deliver high-quality presales work at scale.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on expert in Mobile Telecom (5G, 4G, 3G) with a strong understanding of sales engineering workflows. You will drive operational readiness, presales methodology, training, tooling, and cross-functional coordination — ensuring teams are consistently equipped, aligned, and prepared.
Requirements
• 7+ years in Sales Engineering, presales enablement, or technical consulting roles in the Mobile Telecom industry.
• Deep technical expertise in 5G, 4G, and 3G networks, including architecture, protocols, and commercial deployment use cases.
• Proven ability to define and implement structured methodologies and workflows.
• Experience managing demo environments, presales tooling, and technical enablement content.
• Strong communicator and influencer across cross-functional teams.
• Fluent in English; Hebrew and other languages are a plus.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for team and stakeholder alignment.
Responsibilities
• Define and maintain Sales Engineering methodology, covering the full presales lifecycle: qualification, discovery, demos, POCs, and RFPs.
• Own and enforce global process standards, ensuring consistency, quality, and repeatability across regions.
• Develop and deliver training programs for onboarding and continuous development of Sales Engineers.
• Ensure demo and POC environments are available, technically accurate, and aligned with customer use cases — working closely with PSO and product teams.
• Manage the internal Sales Engineering portal and knowledge base, including templates, best practices, and tools.
• Coordinate presales content development, including presentations and technical collateral, in collaboration with Marketing and Product.
• Conduct regular readiness checks and internal audits, identifying gaps and driving corrective actions.
• Act as a central coordination point for feedback, alignment, and internal communication across the Sales Engineering function.
